Frankfurt: Campus Verlag, 2007.</p> <p>Grenzen sind unabdingbare Voraussetzung für politisches Denken und Handeln. Dennoch haben sie in der politischen Theorie bislang keine besondere Aufmerksamkeit gefunden. Andreas Vasilache beleuchtet erstmals die Rolle der Grenze in der politischen Theorie und Praxis der Neuzeit. Anhand der Texte von Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau, Foucault und Agamben zeigt er, dass moderne Politik trotz Globalisierung noch immer im Zeichen des Staates und seiner zahlreichen Grenzziehungen steht.</p>
